| THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON QUALITY AND DEPENDABILITY CCF 2008 |
An international event which should be included in the agenda of any Romanian manager or specialist.
Date: 24-26 September 2008 Place: Cazino, Sinaia, ROMANIA
The 11th edition of the most important Romanian scientific meeting in the field, the International Conference on Quality and Dependability CCF 2008, will be organized according to the already established periodicity on 24 26 September 2008, in the beautiful landscape of the Romanian pearl of the Carpathians, Sinaia resort, in the elegant halls of the Cazino Sinaia.
The International Conference on Quality and Dependability CCF 2008 is organized by the association Romanian Society for Quality Assurance, in cooperation with several national and international organizations in the field, under the scientific umbrella of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers IEEE, increasing the importance of the event and highlighting the international openness.
The potential authors should consider, when elaborating the papers, that within CCF 2008 all sides will be approached: engineering, social-technical, managerial, economic, legal, etc. and the implications of quality and dependability (reliability, maintainability, safety, etc.). Consequently, various views, including the polemic ones, concerning the engineering, management and certification, dependability, etc. are welcome at CCF 2008. The organizers plan several debates and round tables on controversial aspects of this inter-disciplinary field.
The orienting topics of the conference, presented hereafter, are aimed at reflecting both the evolutions, opportunities and the problems and challenges in the field of quality for the Romanian society and economy at this beginning of the millennium. Through its international character and, therefore, through the participation of well-known professionals in this field (mainly from EU countries), CCF 2008 may be considered as a real benchmark and moment of truth for the Romanian organizations and professionals, at almost 2 years from Romanias adhesion to EU: where we are in terms of research, education, management and legislation in the field of quality and dependability and what are the trends.
